Give them Something to Write About  … and On!

As a former teacher, some of the most meaningful gifts were the handwritten notes of appreciation or gratitude for something I had done or taught. Write a heartfelt, handwritten note on a beautiful card or stationery.

And on a note-writing related note, one year a mom of a student I had helped for hours outside of class gave me a set of personalized stationery. It was a really thoughtful gift, and though the cards have long been sent, I remember the gift today.
