Give them Something to Write About … and On!
As a former teacher, some of the most meaningful gifts were the handwritten notes of appreciation or gratitude for something I had done or taught. Write a heartfelt, handwritten note on a beautiful card or stationery.
And on a note-writing related note, one year a mom of a student I had helped for hours outside of class gave me a set of personalized stationery. It was a really thoughtful gift, and though the cards have long been sent, I remember the gift today.
There are lots of sites to make a personalized notepad or cards with a class photo, a beautiful drawing or inspirational quote

Also, in our opinion, you can never go wrong with chocolate or flowers:
Something sweet
Something scented
