"You are so crafty!"
Halloween got us thinking about the word craft and its many connotations. People will say to us, “you are so crafty” when they see our accents or watch us wrap up a gift to look like a rose. We are pretty sure it’s meant as a compliment - yet sometimes it doesn’t feel like one. Crafty has come to be associated with DIY and activities on the amateur side of things.
At Rapt, the pros are on the job! Our reusable fabric sheets are cut and sewn in Massachusetts by professionals with decades of experience. The fulfillment department (yours truly, right now) is almost as efficient as an Amazon warehouse worker. And we can go the extra mile and write a personal note because we have a little more time.
But it’s true that we are crafty when it comes to making poms and accents - both in the sense of homemade (our poms and accents are one of a kind) and clever (we are using a lot of remnant yarn, ribbon and fabric) We are making these ourselves and are just getting started! (email us for a specific accent request) Have you seen our beautiful creations? They are small batch, craft poms. We like to think of them like those small batch bourbons and whiskeys in that we are taking the time to choose and blend and create something special. And when you combine our accents with Rapt sheets, you will also create something special, something bespoke, since each accent is unique. But unlike whiskey ours are made more quickly and will last longer…for a lifetime of giving. Cheers to that!
