March moments

As we were thinking about our blog log for March, we looked at the calendar and noticed something which seems quite rare. This year in March, in the span of 22 days, there are four major religious observances that have been or will be celebrated by four world religions.

March 10th: Ramadan began at sundown for Muslims

March 23rd: Purim began at sundown for Jews

March 25th: Holi was celebrated by Hindus 

March 31st: Easter will be celebrated by Christians

In this time of great conflict in the world, may those celebrating their sacred holidays find peace and communion with others and find ways to heal the wounds that divide us. Peace to all
